  • Inline skate wheels - Are constructed of polyurethane with ball bearings to minimize frictional resistance, offer durability and reduced resistance for smooth rolling.
  • Push button handle - Locks when fully extended so you can push or pull your case. The handle also locks when fully recessed, greatly reducing the risk of damage when not in use.
  • Top carry handle - Allows you to lift the case with ease and comfort, or carry it by hand when rolling isn't an option.

Great suitcase, horrible service

Ordered a new Dura-lite to replace one that survived 10 years of international travel until finally being dropped & dented 1 too many times. With at least 3 international trips a year, never had any problem with latches, locks or wheels.

Had an issue with my order, but found myself dealing with the least helpful customer service agent ever. Tried calling back, and got the same treatment from another agent who was at least apologetic for being so unhelpful.

Would give the suitcase 4 stars for being very sturdy and quite reliable, if comparatively heavy these days, but subtract a star for the terrible experience with Samsonite's customer service. Strongly recommend this suitcase, but bought from Amazon or another seller.

after not even 6 months since I've purchased this suitcase and making only 3 European trips, my suitcase broke. I didn't only lose one piece of plastic located on the bottom of the suitcase, but also the plastic near it cracked. For such a extremely expensive luggage, I would expect greater durability. Since I've heard how long and disappointing the service and the claims at Samsonite last, I don't think I will gain much, but I know for sure they've lost one customer (and few others listening to my story).
