faulty zipper

If the zipper on this did not break after 3 months I would give this 5 stars. I have a 17.3 inch toshiba that fits snugly in. Unfortunately I have owned 2 of these and the zipper is so snug that it wears out over the corners of the computer in a matter of a short few months.

This is a replacement for my old (and far more expensive) Port case, to fit a W510 Lenovo (and all related stuff). After a couple of trips, I am still very happy with it. The bag is lightweight but well made. Even though the outside dimensions are smaller than the Port, the wide laptop fits more easily into the Quantum.

One reason for my high rating is the low price of this case. The wheels seem somewhat similar to those on the Port, which failed continuously on that case; time will tell how they hold up on this one. The cloth handles are a little harder to grab than the hinged rigid handles, but also don't tend to pinch fingers or hands between them. The extension handle actually seems pretty decent- not quite as accessible for immediate grab on exiting the plane due to the fold over cover, but not bad at all.

For $60-something this is an outstanding value.
