blow hole

I haven't used it yet, there were no instructions as how to blow it up, because it was sealed. After puncturing the hole and finally after a lot of hot air I managed to inflate it. Now I want to collapse it to store it until I am ready to use it and you can't just squeeze the hole to release the air. What gives?
