Approval Process

Once you complete your personal and credit card information for your order select the "PLACE ORDER" button. At that time we validate your bill to and credit card information. Please note that if you are using a debit card your bank will hold the dollar amount of your order. As long as everything clears then we will place your order and you will receive an e-mail notification that confirms your order.

After You Place Your Order

If you place your order online or over the phone and provide an e-mail address, you will be sent an e-mail acknowledgment to confirm that we are processing your order. This will contain details of your order including the total amount that will be billed to your credit card. This amount may include tax and shipping and handling charges. This serves as your receipt for your purchase.

If you have not received an e-mail order confirmation within one business day, please contact Customer Service at 800-765-BAGS (2247).

Order Cancellation and Change Your Order

In order to meet our commitment to you to ship your order as quickly as possible, we cannot cancel or change an order once it has been placed. To view your open orders sign into your account. If you decide you no longer want your order, please refuse delivery upon its arrival. We will issue you a refund of the purchase price once the product is returned to our fulfillment center. Only orders that arrive with damaged or incorrect product will result in a refund of your purchase price, plus applicable sales tax paid and shipping fees. Any other returns will not be refunded shipping fees.

Prices

Prices quoted on the product pages of the website are subject to change and do not include taxes or shipping and handling fees. All prices are stated and only payable in U.S. dollars.

Payment Methods

We accept credits cards only through Amazon’s secure checkout. We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club and JCB. We do not currently accept money orders, cashier's checks, Billpoint, gift certificates, Samsonite Company Stores Gift Cards, International wire transfers, PayPal, or Smart Cards. For online orders, we only accept credit cards issued within the United States. If you have any questions or would like to make a purchase using an international credit card, please call 1-800-765-2247 (within the U.S.) or 1-207-832-0814 (outside the U.S.). We only accept international credit cards over the phone as long as the ship to address is within the United States. Only valid credit cards acceptable to Amazon may be used to place an order, and all refunds will be credited to the same card. By submitting your order for processing, you authorize us to charge the amount shown to your credit card when the product ships. If your card cannot be verified due to it’s being invalid, not acceptable or any question of fraud your order will not be processed. You will not receive an order confirmation e-mail but you can call 1-800-765-2247 for assistance.

Electronic Communications

Since ordering at Shop.Samsonite.com is done electronically you agree to allow us to communicate with you electronically as well. We may send you e-mail notices and other information about your orders via e-mail such as order confirmation, order status, product out of stock notification, or shipping confirmation. There is a possibility you will not hear from us about a delay in your order for three business days.

Availability

Samsonite reserves the right to change availability on products at any time.

Sales Tax

Tax charges are based on state and local tax laws and tax rates for the delivery address of your order. Tax will also be applied to the gift wrap or shipping and handling charges. If you return an item for a refund, you will also receive a refund for the taxes you paid for that item. You will not receive a refund for the taxes you paid on the gift wrap or shipping and handling of that item, as these charges are nonrefundable once an item has been gift wrapped or shipped.

Please note that on-screen order totals reflect estimated tax. The actual charge to your credit card will reflect all applicable taxes calculated at the time your order is shipped. If you have questions about the taxes on your invoice, please call us 24 hours a day at 1-800-765-2247.

If you qualify for tax exempt please email TaxExempt@Samsonite.com or call us 24 hours a day at 1-800-765-2247 with the following information and someone will contact you within 3-7 business days to place your order. Please do not place your order through Shop.Samsonite.com.

To ensure compliance with state and local tax laws, all requested and information must be verified by our Customer Service team before a refund for tax can be applied to your order.

Shipping & Handling

Charges for shipping and handling will be added to all orders. Delivery times are estimated, not guaranteed, and are the minimum delivery time for in-stock products. Please refer to the Shipping Policy for additional information.

Gift Wrap

You have the option to gift wrap some of our products on Shop.Samsonite.com. If the option appears you have two choices. You can send a message that is a maximum of 240 characters, which is about 10 lines of text or you can send a message and have the product gift wrapped with ‘Amazon gift wrap’ materials. Charges vary depending on product.

Delivery

Occasionally, we receive incorrect 'ship to' information that can delay the processing and delivery of your order.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Shop.Samsonite.com guarantees total customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your online purchase, you may return unused merchandise within 30 days of the original shipped date for a prompt refund. You will be refunded for the merchandise total, plus applicable sales tax paid. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless product arrives damaged or the incorrect product was shipped. Please allow 14 business days for us to process your return. Please allow 1 to 2 billing cycles for the credit to show up on your credit card statement.
