  • SmoothRoller - Steel spring suspension allows the flexing arm of the SmoothRoller wheel housing to absorb the vibration and jolting that can occur due to inconsistencies in terrain. The shock suspension wheel housing with the SoftSpin wheels provides smooth transport.

This luggage is bigger than you think and consequently will not fit into overheads as easily as advertized. It is not the best for a frequent flier such as myself which encounters all sizes of overhead bins around the world. I have an older Samsonite luggage and was hoping to replace it with something similar in size. The newer models are just plain bigger! The expansion on this luggage dramatically increases the back to front length. Recommendation to Samsonite: scrap the expansion and truly design the luggage smaller. If I want a bigger bag, I can buy a bigger size.

This product is not a carry on size. It is 21.5 x 14.5 x 10.5. It was advertised as 21.5x14.5x7.5.

The extra 3 inches doesn't come from the extension. It's the original size.

I am not sure if it would fit into the overhead compartment for my flight to Vegas. So I'll probably return this.

The quality is pretty good but I need one that fits into the overhead compartment.

I have only had the luggage for a few months but love it so far. Since I have only own it a short time, I could not give it 5 stars. I would need to use it for awhile longer to see the durability before I can give it that high of a rating. It is just big enough for a quick weekend trip. The bag will fit in the overhead compartment of the plane. Overall, I am impressed with this product.
