I bought this bag for a trip that I just returned from. I wanted this type of suitcase because I would be walking a lot from destination to destination and taking trains. The option of pulling, carrying it as a duffel, or on my back was a big reason I chose it. However, after packing the suitcase I realized it does not stand upright because the bottom is not rigid enough to hold it up. This was very inconvenient during the trip because I had to lean it up against the wall when letting go of the handle.
